The Story Behind Threads That Hold, LLC

Threads That Hold, LLC began with a simple belief: real change starts within.

For me, that belief is lived. I became a mother at 18, the first in my family to graduate college, and later was the primary caregiver for my brother until his passing in 2022. In 2023, I faced breast cancer and emerged with a clarity, purpose, and strength I didn't expect.

Every chapter taught me the same truth: growth is possible, even in the hardest seasons, when someone believes in your capacity to rise.

For over 26 years, I’ve built a career in learning and development designing certification programs, leading leadership initiatives, and coaching teams through change. It was never just a career. It was a long study in human resilience and transformation.

Teaching became my lens to see people, their potential, their resilience, their ability to rewrite their own stories. It’s the work that helped me rewrite mine.

Threads That Hold was founded to create the kind of learning space I wish more people had: ethical, inclusive, research-grounded, and deeply human. A space where learners feel seen, supported, and challenged to grow into coaches who help others transform lives.

Every program I design carries the imprint of my journey, young motherhood, first-generation determination, caregiving, surviving cancer, and the unwavering belief that people can change when they begin with themselves.

Threads That Hold exists because coaching changes people, and people change the world!

When coaches are prepared with skill, integrity, and heart, they create ripples of empowerment that strengthen schools, workplaces, organizations, and communities.

None of this would have been possible without my family, especially my husband of more than 30 years (my high school sweetheart), whose quiet faith has been the force behind every leap.

And now, the work continues with you. I am honored to walk alongside you as you write your next chapter.
